Not Now, Not Ever in Logan continues to promote change

The Not Now, Not Ever in Logan campaign is a community-based initiative to reduce domestic and family violence in Logan.

The campaign is a joint effort between Logan organisations including YFS and The Centre for Women& Co, local businesses, service clubs, Queensland Police Service, Logan City Council and the Queensland Government.

The campaign’s cinema advertisement featuring Logan identities speaking out against domestic violence won the not-for-profit category in the 2018 Safe City Logan awards.

Not Now Not Ever in Logan was also successful in obtaining a grant from Logan City Council to mount street banners in major shopping districts in Logan. Street banners and fence signage will blanket Logan with anti-violence messages in early 2019, thanks to Council’s support and sponsorship from local businesses.

Not Now, Not Ever in Logan maintains an active Facebook presence keeping the message live and local. The campaign website provides up to date information about local services and supports. The campaign group also produces a pocket-sized Quick Help Guide distributed through local businesses, services, police and Council premises to provide information about services for people who need help.

You can follow the campaign on facebook to keep up to date with what’s happening in Logan.
